www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333701965851This is an absolute must for subaru fans - still isn't easy on the eye but you gotta love the bonkers level. it looks like a rebodied brat, and that steering wheel is very abstract

SHHHHH hahaha, I've been doing some research on these recently. how many left would have you believe there are 2 left on the road, there are actually 3. of the 22 cars it lists I have managed to find images and details of 14 of them, bloody hard work making a self registry about these,

Funnily enough I've got one of these on my eBay watch list, and if it wasn't about 5 hours away I'd be straight there, looks bonkers inside, almost aircrafty. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/373163620207

No idea how much the winning bidder actually put in though. Only bid as I’d done a lot of work on that car for the previous owner, who had 2 of them and sold them as a pair. The other one (same colour, but manual, G-reg) would have needed a lot of work as it had been standing for years. He’d owned it about 15 years and was his daily for years. He took it off the road when it needed some work and miraculously found the one on eBay there for sale in a local paper. We made a stainless exhaust for it and the owner before him converted it to conventional springs as the air suspension required work. He did want us to re-engineer it with a modern air ride set up, but never did have the money to throw at it really. He worked in PR for Subaru when they were released, so had a huge affinity for them and never stopped banging on about the drag coefficient being superior to any supercar or the time and the flush door handles and fluted sides. He even kept a period Subaru Gilet in the car!

I was expecting the new owner to crop up in one of the groups or the car to be spotted as it was transported by the new owner. It never seemed to surface so I just rechecked eBay...

Looks like it’ll be back for sale... contact them in all honesty, the advert was perfect. Said the car needed overhaul etc. Just buyer being an idiot I guess, looking at sales history for the grey one also for sale, they've had problems with typical ebay buyers remorse too, previous auction ended in july at over 3k, yet it's still for sale. I think if you don't buy this white one and my car sells to the viewer this evening, I think I'll pester them for it.
