Eagle SS was like a Nova but with gullwing doors instead of the lift off canopy A lot of these have bits of magic but also one WTF aspects Just googled Stendetto, wish I hadn't! Name was a dead giveaway. I had been tempted to,loo ads well. You can get a 17” steel 4x108. It’s used as a spare on a late Citroen C5 IIRC. Be interesting to see what they look like Steels alwaysma[peal.

I believe eagle supplied 15 x 7 wheels (looked like or may even have been Wellers) as an option when ordering the kit. The Nova roof lifted up on gas rams then you had to sort of slide in under it. Edit I think the wheels Eagle supplied were alloys, so probably not Wellers

Here you go. More common in 16 inch than 17, but 17’s can be found

Had a nice little WhatsApp chat with Grizz this evening, I’ll get that rear light on it’s way next week.
Pleasure to contribute to this mad little project 🙂

If you’ll be needing steels of the low offset sticky outy variety it’s worth checking out www.extremeoffsetwheels.com run by derangedrover I believe. Although website only currently shows wheels in stock the custom orders section should be up and running again soon. Just a selection of specific styles / colours / fitments but when they do the custom ones you can get exactly what you need if they’re not available in standard form on any other cars...

Yes, click the link. Ahhhh, thanks. I believe eagle supplied 15 x 7 wheels (looked like or may even have been Wellers) as an option when ordering the kit. The Nova roof lifted up on gas rams then you had to sort of slide in under it. Edit I think the wheels Eagle supplied were alloys, so probably not Wellers I have no idea at this point, but suspect the kit was supplied according to budget. Wellers on the black one earlier in the thread do not appeal to me at all. But the silver ones that sold cheap, did appeal. Didn't sell, might be worth an email ? CLICKYThanks for that Jimi, I am committed to the one I have bought. Original; plan was to find a tub, and make it up as I went along. Despite no running gear, this one appeals to me a lot more for many, reasons. Let’s see what lands here by next weekend. Fingers crossed too. Here you go. More common in 16 inch than 17, but 17’s can be found My thinking was always 13’s or 14’s but maybe I need more to fill the arches once it is lowered.

6x16" Citroen C4 Picasso spare wheels on a Capri: Offset on the fronts is a couple of mm off, but it drives OK. They could do with a deeper inset for looks too. Cost £100 for all four, unused, removed disable conversions. And painted dark metal grey.

There are some pretty nice wheels in that selection too. Thanks for the links. I guess that if I manage to get the build right, then a good set of wheels becomes more viable too.

I do like that look though.

I do like that look though. The offset needs to match the suspension geometry. If it's too far out, it will give allsorts of weird steering faults. The wheels were spares removed from new Picassos that had tailgate ramps fitted for wheelchairs.

My mate Martin does this daily, as his day job, conversions. These, though Steels, remind me of 205 GTi alloys.

Pretty much almost 9 days after having Bill go look, and agreeing to buying this car, today was interesting. I was offered the free use of this trailer for a local neighbour 600 meters from home. So fetched it at around 13,00, brought it home and carefully reversed it onto the drive. Suddenly the Rezin Rockit Road Trip is a reality. He threw in two spare ratchet tie downs to add to my lot. Interesting reversing it down here. Tight Fit. Once through, I moved it right back and then unpacked all the glass from the Galaxy as collected earlier this week. Using the last of the deck wood from last years rebuild, and some more saved scrap, I made up a basic crate for them all to sit in. Piled up. Closed in, wedged in and to be strapped down before heading out to Derbyshire en-route to Glasgow Tomorrow Fil and his partner Nikki land in the afternoon in their Sprinter camper van, then we BBQ and early Dark-0-Clock on Tuesday they head out. Dropping off the glass for a large shed build, and overnight in Derbyshire before heading to Glasgow on Wednesday to collect the Rezin Rockit. Seems we may be headed in the right direction. Guess I should have asked, who is still on the trip? .
