Tried it on my iPhone last night and tried it on a PC today and when I select an image, all it comes up with is empty img tags You are using the old url, need to be on forum.retro-rides.org ... I used to have an automatic redirect, but it sent Google crazy.

In firefox if I leave the view at 100% then there is a lot of page border and the actual 'page' is about 60% of the screen width. Personally I don't care for the side bar - I just want to read the actual page. Same as BPR, I prefer a large "page" with little border. The changes have reduced the width of the "page" a lot (20% on the right is now used for sidebar, 10% on the left is blank apart from round icons) My setup: 10" wide-screen tablet running android v6.0 Browser is Maxthon (based on Firefox engine?) but appears the same on Chrome.

Ok, in desktop mode on phone I can now add a photo, but text is very small. Still no option of adding a photo in phone mode?

I appreciate there are future plans for the right hand side bar, but wouldn't it be enough to have it on the home page like it used to be? I agree with others that it currently takes up a lot of page space.
It looks like the "recently updated" box shows 'last' replies that are a little behind?
The link to the for sale section in the quick navigation box only links to cars for sale, not the Marketplace in general.

What is the screen resolution on both?
I'll do some more on all this on Friday after I've updated club stuff and RR Weekender refunds/carry over stuff.

Looking on my android tablet with Firefox, no right hand sidebar at all? Text is very small as well but top banner is all correct. Can't do a screenshot as not sure how on tablet.

Ah, just checked and was in desktop mode.now in other mode and sidebar is there but text still pretty small unless I stretch screen to get rid of sidebar. I ended up deeeeeeeep in doing club stuff on Friday, so didn't get back to working on the Layout (I also had the weekend off, went and saw my parents, test drove a Volvo XC90, had a Sunday lunch, it was great). Will get to it this week hopefully, although I have a lot to catch up on with RR Weekender refund process (and making sure emails are being delivered). I have thought about adding in a theme option for larger text sizes, but trying to work out the best way to do that.

Screengrab for reference (Android 10" wide-screen tablet) I agree with BPRs points (saves me repeating what he said)

Screengrab for reference (Android 10" wide-screen tablet) Interesting I wouldn't have thought a 10" tablet would be running at the right resolution to end up with the side bars, but when I looked it up it seems like it is. Hmmm I'll have to see if I can do it on a device basis rather than purely from screen resolution.

Not sure if covered already, or of any interest.
I have tried to send a PM clicking on the yellow, username on the Avatar section, and all it does on iPad Pro is give me @xxxxx in the message reply box.
Only managed to get a message out via members online names.

I'm not a massive fan of the new look to be brutally honest, although I do appreciate the effort put in and that some of it if not all may be necessary, I use a laptop and my mobile, on my laptop the retro rides emblem/banner is cut in half, I think it might be because the page seems a tad too big? I don't like the weird circular avatars and for some annoying reason my participated widget thing keeps telling me I have something new in there even though I don't. Like I said I really do appreciate the time put into such things as personally I wouldn't know where to start and can only imagine how time consuming it is, so thank you. I just really liked the older style, you might even say the retro, Retro Rides layout

In desktop mode on my phone, the participated button goes from this: To this: Not the end of the world, but a bit funky. Also, when in desktop mode, the like button is at the bottom of a post (good), when in mobile mode it's at the top of a post (not so good, especially if it's a really long post!) And I've just noticed that hitting enter on my keyboard takes me out of keyboard mode when I'm typing, but I have a feeling that might be a Xiaomi feature. Also signatures appear to have disappeared from both modes.

you know, the only thing that REEEALLY annoys me (i say other stuff does, bit this is the only actual annoying thing) is that on mobile version the like button is at the TOP of the post, so you have to scroll back up to use it.

There are two mobile versions of the site, the one Proboards supplies (which is broadly fully functional, but lacks the image upload and a few other bits I've put in the desktop site), and the "desktop" version which is now more responsive, but that is not fully developed yet.
Sorry I've not done more on this stuff over the past week and a half, I've been drowning in sorting out RR Weekender Refunds and Carry Overs. Hopefully have that all put to bed this Friday and I can return to concentrating on the Forum and Club stuff.

It has taken a while. But I finally got to have a go at the profile/post divider thing. If you click on the avatar (on desktop and tablet) you'll get the old miniprofile pop up... click on the avatar again and it goes away. The little bit between each post where the Name/username is at the moment could do with a bit more work, but I'm still working out where I'd like the buttons. I want to change the likes display next most probably, make it a bit more inviting and a bit better. I'll also have a look at these Tablet/Small desktop etc. breakpoints so ya'll can have tablet mode properly Oh and "desktop" mobile people, a reminder that we're still a fair way from that being fully operational, but I'm working on it!.

Annnnnnnnd I already found a bug, when you move through a thread using the paging numbers it loses the avatar click thing ... will fix that in the next round of bug fixes.
