As I seem to have been tagged to this thread, and I do love spending other peoples money, here is my 2p's worth. Don't fight what the car is telling you. If it is a bit battle scared why not play in that and make it look like an endurance racer that has competed at Spa or Le Mans etc. Throw a set of BBS LM knock offs on it (or the BMW Baskets painted gold?) a set over over fenders, a few well placed and matching race product stickers, painted side walls (look at what EmDee did on the multipa) even make the scuffs like like it is battle damage - Grizz mentioned painted on tyre scuffs etc. A friend of mine raced for Porsche at Le Man in 2004 - they took the car from the track to the local dealer and displayed it in all its glory - that is the sort of look I would go for... Either way, your car. Enjoy! P.

Google shows scuffing thus. You can replicate this in paint with a brush, on clear vinyl that makes it removable. If you considered a off the track, hard hitter race car who gave no inch.

Thanks Grizz...I just fell down an hour-long YouTube hole following the progress of the off-road TT

Slacker that does work, so do you think remove the wing/door mirrors and replace with little round hot rod ones on the roof pillar would work or be wrong.

I want a 356 outlaw look to work, but I haven't found an image that works in translation to the TT...

I could see it working well in red oxide with white scallops.

The wife and I have a phrase for certain genres of TV-based entertainment, "washy"
I think Urban Outlaw was washy for me, not wildly exciting, it just washed over me...
...but! It has left an impression, just not sure if a near-fifty Essex boy like me could get away with the look!

Or curveball but still in keeping as I think the body lines would work with this paint treatment.
