Mazda RX8 seats - Anyone strip them before?

I am busy with a silly/serious build.

Seats planned and acquired are black and red RX8 items.

Drivers side weigs about 26kg or 4.5 stone.

Is there any experience out there around swapping out a complete drivers seat base for a passenger side one?

Asking before I start stripping my drivers side.

I've tried on the RX8 OC but there doesn't appear to be an answer or anywhere to ask unless you're a paid member?

I might be going back to the Special-Ed garage in a week or two, they have used RX8 seats to make gaming chairs so I might get some help there...
