I’ve decided to sell my MK1 Eunos – it’s supercharged and has a huge spec - and really does go like a stabbed rat - is far and away the most fun (and fastest) car I've ever driven. It really is quite special.
Sadly – life marches on and I have other places the money could go.
I really can't exaggerate just how fast this is - it's goes like an electrified bull with it's bits in a vice filled with chilli sauce
Piccies:
Specs
• 1.6 Import - 150k or so (miles)
• J Reg - 1992
• 6 Months MOT until 27th March 2021
• V-Limited
• Always garaged in my ownership and used sparingly (sadly)
• Always run on Shell V Power
• Bofi SR1 Superchager kit (M45 Charger, teflon coated)
• Pre-Charger throttle body with custom RX7 Throttle cable setup
• NGK BKR7E-11 Plugs
• KAV's reduction pulley (believe it's 17%)
• ME221 Gen2 ECU
• Bosch EV14 660CC Injectors
• AEM Wideband
• 1.8 Throttle Body
• Stainless 4-2-1 Manifold into a Full Stainless exhaust system w/Decat pipe and Cobalt backbox – lovely deep sound - will pop and shoot rather large flames if driven hard
• Custom Chargecooler w/scuttle Ali reservoir
• MK2 Gearbox
• Whitelite Racing front and rear ARB's
• Colbalt adjustable ARB Links
• Gaz Gold Coilovers
• Torsen Type II LSD - 3.9 Ratio - from a MK2 – recently fitted & serviced
• 15" Lenso Alloys in mint condition w/good tyres
• Full Tan interior - clean
• Very clean underneath, sills are all good too! One repaired 6 months ago with proof it was done to a good standard (progress pictures before and after paint)
• Timing belt and water pump done less than 5k ago
• Mapped by Skuzzle originally by the previous owner, reduction pulley was added and it was remote mapped by Alex Hickson - around 185-190BHP - BOFI Racing confirm it would be good for just over 200WHP with the spec
• Just serviced w/genuine parts and top of the range oil, new cam cover gasket and rear main seal / CAS O Ring
• Good condition Vinyl roof w/Zip out Window
Only bad points are:
• Small crack in the filler skim over the newest welded sill – it was a little crispy when I bought it so the chap I bought it off (a welder by trade) did it for me as part of the deal of me buying it – it’s all magnetic and I have proof (pictures of it being done) that it is indeed properly welded with metal – the filler is just skimmed over to make it tidy
• Sometimes has an issue with the ignition not coming on – but it always does after a few tries. I’ve narrowed it down to either the contacts on the end of the ignition barrel or the physical position of the immobiliser fob on my keys – need to do more testing really but it’s not my daily car
• Slight weep of oil from the sump gasket – I have the half moon gaskets to do this but probably won’t be done before I sell it
• Paint isn’t great in some places but is very presentable – it’s a nearly 30 year old car so to be expected
I also have a 5RACE Rollbar with a brand new fitting kit and a semi-decent Hardtop that could go with it - along with the standard parts (Injectors, ECU, leftover oil ect ect)
I’m happy to take pictures, walk around videos, get it up on a ramp if needed – inspection welcome – no test drives without cash in my hand or my bank and proof of fully comp insurance – happy to take you on a passenger ride, car will be disinfected and masks worn with the roof down. It really is a handful - so you won't be driving it if you aren't confident in quick RWD cars.
Any questions, feel free to message me. I'm not in the business of lying or messing people around - this is a sorted, very well specc'd example of an appreciating classic - and goes like the proverbial off of a shovel.
