I have researched and seems like they are both road legal and MOT compliant but wondered if anyone has any experience on here with them.
Wouldn't be my first choice of tyre for the road but the wheels I purchased came with brand new tyres already fitted.
Have had a little rain test, being semi slicks they don't feel as planted but I am a tame driver so I don't see why I would have any problems. I cover very little mileage anyway.
My main concern is that they are 100% legal on UK roads? I am almost certain they are but the word semi slick just puts a little doubt in my mind!
Thank you

They've got all the European ratings etc. I've had them on all my track cars and fast road cars, they are pants in winter but once they've got a bit of temperature in them, even in the wet they are brilliant.
If they are the earlier versions (140 treadwear, not 220) then they are out of production and getting a little more sought after.

Thank you andrewbaranSo long as they are legal then I am happy. I still have the original set of wheels with more appropriate winter tyres which I will switch back over to when we hit freezing temperatures.

cheers rodharris83Similar to a lot of reviews I have read, most state that they are not great in the wet until warmed up a bit. Would be interesting to see something on cold conditions, when it starts frosting in the mornings I will do another little test to get a better idea. They clear road legal checks so I am sure they are fine

Yea they are all good for the road. I used to run them on all sorts of track/road cars all season round. Just watch out for that standing water

slipngripross It’s up for £7K on piston heads I think. I try not to scan too much but always on the hunt for a V1 just in case a steal comes up for me. The spec looks identical, I think they might have just copied your ad. The photos might not be doing it justice but it doesn’t look quite as tidy. Was the roof skin just a vinyl wrap before?

YEa it was just a wrap on the roof it was always intended to be a race car. I'm still hoping to add another Pre 95 Type RA to my collection at some point such great cars
