Does anyone know the wheel PCD / fitment for a 1979 Austin Maxi?
Unsurprisingly it doesn't seem to be listed on the usual fitment guides I check and google seems to bring up mixed results from ghost town forums.
Cheers in advance.

5 mins on google seems to confirm my suspicion they are 4x4.5.

5 mins on google seems to confirm my suspicion they are 4x4.5. Is that a confirmed source though? 5 minutes on google gave me a mixture of 4x4" & 4x3.75" & 4x4.5" so when you get mixed results it's harder to trust who is right! Offset will helo too if you know that?

Maxi is 4x4.5inch. They are nearly all inset. I fitted Triumph Stag wheels to mine 30 years ago...

4x114.3 if that makes it easier. Why do you need to know? I need to know why you need to know, its essential to my being.

I bought a set of lotus wheels “by accident” so I’ve been keeping an eye out for things to fit them to and an immaculate 1.8 HLS iirc maxi popped up on a local classic dealers website for £5k and I was having thoughts about dailying it low on lotus wheels. It sold by the time I dropped by though, probably for the best as it was too good for my plans really, they did have an equally immaculate dark green austin 1100 that seemed to be being prepped though.

Slammed and cambered Mitsubishi Charisma. Or a First generation Volvo V/S40..

I’d not heard of the Mitsubishi / volvo collab until a week or two ago. I’m going to stick with the Ignis for now though and see how things are in a year or two’s time as the Ignis is doing it’s job well.

Volvo/Mistubishi and oddly a few Renault parts thrown in for good measure. But yea, Mitsubishi would be cool. No 'good' modified ones looking quickly at google images. Something for 2022's show season perhaps..
