Anyone idenfify this old manual gearbox?

old gearbox, looks like it maybe had an overdrive or something on the back of it, any ideas what it might be from? Came with some Bedford CF bits but I don't think it's off one of those.

Hi, It does indeed look like a Vauxhall gearbox as fitted to Victors and some CF's. It has the adaptor housing and extended mainshaft for an overdrive. Overdrive were available more for the cars but I understand CF's could have them although that was rarer.

been told now it could be firenza / magnum overdrive gearbox

Could well be because they were fitted with the slant four engine. Just the same as different Ford gearboxes were fitted in a variety of models.

vauxall viva hc/firenza/victor slant 4 gearbox with an overdrive adaptor. similar to the cf but the gear stick is in the wrong place. CF has it located on the side. Curious is it for sale? any play in the shaft?

sold already , a chap from Heathrow area came and bought it and a few dismantled overdrive units.
