I have two or three motorcycles that need the same/similar treatment that are tucked up in my garage needing a few little jobs sorting and then they can get sold as well. One of my project cars needed to go on the drive for a few weeks to enable me to do the motorcycles so the 740 going will help with space Without knowing anything else about them I’ll take all three bikes at asking price! hahahahaha

Does anyone else accumuulate spares for cars Xenon Conversion parts (bought most of the parts never did it) Gingers Heater Matrix (Vauxhall Ownership makes me paranoid) Original Grill Chromes (the plastics were shot to bits) Traffic Master unit and switch (I really should just bin it) Spare hoses new Spare hose (used) Under that is a brand new autobox sump gasket The original wooden gearshift Boxed so if anyone wanted the part number of the leather one I fitted I could find it Rear Bumper insert from a removable towbar kit (so if I ever removed the towbar I could hide the small cut out I had to make in it) Various Trim fixing clips (New)

Oil Filters, Air Filters, Fuel filters.... etc, but not on that level. I'm not stupid enough to keep a fuel filter in stock for this car - it's over £100 as it's viewed as a lifetime fitment Air Filter I've used as well as the Oil Filter very recently as the stock was no longer required to be stock

Much better than me then. Recently moved house so all stuff from garage and sheds has been moved over. I always purchased filters X 2. One to fit and one for next time. However when next time came around could not find them.so purchased again. Now have a double garage, so been able to locate and store everything together. Found a couple of Saab V6 air filters, that car when about 10 years ago...... Amongst a lot of others

Well I didn't say which weekend So "Pusher Fan" replacement Strip down in progress Annoyingly there was one broken pin on one of the flappy vents (Superglue to the rescue) Question would be would the aftermarket part work Fire up the engine - AC on cold - fans on full Hmmmm - no activity Condenser got warm and Yes - we have fan action While the bumper was off made sense to check out the headlight washer system Used a bit of compressed air to back flush blow back to the joint I disconnected - zero fluid came out So put the blow gun on the joint for a bit of forward flow and I heard a pop Ahhh that would be a nozzle launched into orbit - oh !!!!!! It could not be found anywhere so I had a close look at the housing and I could see cracks around the nozzles - looked at the other side and it was the same - I've ordered two new jets......... So I put the bumper back together and gave it a wash

So just to kinda finish this off Back in 2006 I took my mate Geoff with me to see the car (he's pretty much been involved in every car purchase I've made in someway shape or form - I'm always reliant on him to stop my heart ruling head and me buying a bloody dog) and then when I did buy it he ran me there so I could drive it back. Now the Rona thing hasn't been good for him - he has the equivalent of asbestosis of the lungs so he's just a tad vulnerable - so he's not been out of the house for nearly a year with the exception of hospital check ups and 2 covid jabs. I've helped him where I can with issues during the period but everything has been different in the last year. Tomorrow a local company run by a mutual friend www.asmotorsport.co.uk/They make DB1 and DB2 replicas - like below is having a "low key" open day and so I'm taking the 740 - picking up Geoff and we can go to the open day together - Be nice for him to get a last ride out in the car - be my last drive in the car too as it's being collected Friday.
