Couldn't quite fit the whole name in the title, it is a Theophile Schneider Aero. No we'd not heard of one either. A 1913 special with a Hall Scott aero engine from a biplane powering it. Anyone that has been around this place for a while will know that I love love love vintage race cars. This was a great chance to get up close and chat about what it is like driving one at speed. Hope you enjoy.
Anyone that recognises the Walker family name in relation to vintage race cars may well be wondering if we chatting to Hughie's father Mark ... well I've not reviewed the footage but we did manage to catch him for a few minutes too, so hopefully we'll have another slice of pre first world war awesomeness on the channel soon.
Like and subscribe and all that if you can.

I love pre war stuff. The Walker family is doing great work with them, they all are great to watch when goodwood streams their stuff.
Fantastic video again! I would love to see more pre war stuff. I also would like to have a go in 1, just to feel it.

That is utterly amazing. Those cars are fabulous and the racing at Goodwood was amazing.

Great stuff, not enough replies on this! Love a bit of VSCC, I’m up for more of this if you get the chance.

Fantastic stuff, always fancied a 20's car with some sort of period large engine shoved in the front.

Any audio of it running ? Sadly not, but you can see Hughie and the car in action here : more overtaking than an entire season of F1

Brilliant racing ! Pity they didn't gag the commentators and just have the cars as a soundtrack Thanks for the link.

I love the VSSC cars. Sadly I'll never be able to afford one.
