Some of you will know, because of inner circle privilege that I may have spunkied some cash on a new car. Keep it to yourselves for now inner circle. Please. I may know the answer already, but will ask opinions and opinions on here too. Guys like fr€$h&m1nt¥ Dez vulgalour kevins all have blended multiple cars in their threads, and I find that really enjoyable I will be selling the Galaxy as soon as I have moved the registration plate on it, to the new car. So the question is, do I start a new thread for this 21 year old, or do I just blend it into the Galaxy thread? The Rezin Rockit can keep its own thread because it is a silly, fun thing. Picture of what a 21 year old, 38500 mile belly looks like on the MOT ramps an hour after I bought it. Guessing and replies on a postcard below.

Once you get established you end up with a 'personal brand' so people tune in for that. If you're building something exceptional, or something with a very specific goal in mind, a separate thread can be better for that.
Depends on the audience too. Are you catering to your existing audience, or looking to get new people interested? If the former, then merge, if the latter then set up a new thread.
Generally speaking, I like tuning in to the merged threads of folks like Dez and Minty because I know what I'm going to get and it's easier to browse than if they kept multiple threads, one for each project. If you have more than one project generally they will end up cross pollinating anyway, you'll reference other projects you've got on etc. so to avoid confusion of the readers it can be better to have them all clumped together.
Merged threads can be good to introduce your regular audience to something they might not have considered that you want to share with them too, like Dez's forays outside of hot rodding, or mine outside of slightly rubbish 80s and 90s saloons.

Mmmmmm kinda tricky
I quite like lifetime threads where you are in for the journey but to me they don't always work for readers rides threads
So I say start a new thread but my opinion counts for SFA.

I guess it comes down to, is your thread about a personality and what they're up to with vehicles, or is about the vehicle;
if its about the person then a single thread with multiple vehicles is likely good as it'll keep the content fresh / regularly changing over whilst giving chance for maximum person exploits.
If the vehicles the star, and you're "just" the person welding the hamemrs / spanners /welders, then a thread per vehicle may be the way to go as it keeps it on point to whats happening with it.
I've got a few threads each one car specific as its about the cars, as they're the stars, i'm just the annoying personality vacuum that gets in the way.

Jimny?
If were doing a single ground up redtoration then perhaps a dedicated thread but when it's several rolling restos or just regular use I think multiple works.

Don't get this wrong, grizz, but since You tend to copy&paste most of your "news" (for example about Kelly, bootfair purchases, your roof project, etc.) into several threads, maybe one thread for all would be better? That way Your permanent followers (eager not to miss any written word of You) would not need to see several of Your threads only to find stuff they have already seen elsewhere (even outside this forum)?
Plus it would save You a lot of c&p work? ;-)

I kind of prefer the blended threads. It's just a bit easier to keep track of what you're up to.

Don’t know.
I tend to bookmark the threads I’m interested in, and rely on the update notifications, rather than looking at/for new threads, so I can often miss new content. Lazy I know, but if you do start a new thread then mention it in one of the others so I don’t miss it.

Depends on the car.
I set up my ‘fleet’ thread to have everything in one referenceable place, but then if a car is interesting/old/involved enough it then gets its own thread.
