hi. My father In law who is in his 90s is looking to sell his Astra. It’s an l reg year 1993. It has a redtop 1.8 engine. He seems to think the engine has a value. I have no idea how/where to get a valuation and wondered if anyone on here could help. Car is in really good condition with mot. Any ideas re value would be much appreciated

On a 1.8 its not the red top, its a C18XE. Redtop is the 2.0. Still a great engine. What model astra is it? They are starting to go up in value now, but depends on condition, model, no of doors etc.

Any piccies an a location? Sure a positive appraisal an a decent offer from someone on here would see it move to a new home no probs.
