	Hi all.. I'm in process of boarding my concrete sectional garage.. Have used 3x2 beams with some home made brackets to attach to original bolts. The question I need help with is the boards.. I was gonna use 12mm or 18mm ply.. However some 20mm mdf I believe has come up foc would this be OK to use? I only want to board it so I can mount sockets and man cave decor and the odd light use shelf. Thanks

	It will work fine but keep the bottom an inch or so off the floor so any spilt or leaking water doesn't get absorbed.

	I would stick with ply as standard MDF doesnt weather well (doesnt like being damp) and is easily damaged 12mm would be fine I'm sure.

	give it a coat of some waterproofer to give it a chance of survival
