After years away from it in looking at buying a new solvent printer/ cutter to replace my old Graphtec NCAD printer/ cutter.
Folks seem to want one offs of things so it's not worth my time to screen print (yes I'm properly old school) multiples of them.
Does anybody on here have any experience with relatively new models, I know the older ones had terrible clogging problems if not used daily and the life span of some prints was only a couple of years at best. I'm looking at a cut width of about 610mm.
Have things moved on and improved?
Does stuff still need laminating after printing?
Can you print onto any vinyl or is specific stuff required - I know Hexis list print vinyl but I've used there normal vinyl for screening and never had problems.
Thanks
