I'm a bit torn as to my expectations here, I've always had a mild interest in pretending to be a racing driver but with the increase in free time over the last year (probably should have fixed my mx5..) I got a little more enthused. I built myself a rig and spent more than I should (the mazda definitely would have benefited from some of that change) on kit. If anyone does play I have to a fairly varied pallette game (sim..) wise and would be happy to join some time.

I bought a thrustmaster t300 rs a couple of months ago and I have been playing around with it for the last few months.
Mostly try to hustle the group 5 stuff around on RaceRoom and do a bit of Life for Speed every now and then. My pc wont run much of the proper sims, sadly.
I enjoy watching jimmy broadbents streams, and am looking into building a semi decent rig with the gear I have now.

I have a Logitech wheel but it’s set up for using at a desk rather than a full sim setup like yours which is impressive. I also built it to be more truck because it usually gets used with ETS2 and ATS as it has a 2-toggle splitter fitted on the shifter for a total of 18 forward and 4 reverse gears for trucks. I’ve mainly been playing silly stuff recently as I don’t have too much spare time to dive into the sim titles, ATS can really suck you in on a long haul for a few hours with a nice truck, so I’ve been messing with BeamNG and currently just because it’s utterly silly, The Long Drive.

Nice set up. I saw a video of Louise Cook using a pretty sophisticated rig with dirt 2.0? I think. She can certainly but a car through its paces, real or virtual.

I enjoy watching jimmy broadbents streams, and am looking into building a semi decent rig with the gear I have now. I have only tried RaceRoom very briefly and never really got round to setting it up properly but it seems a fairly popular choice. Other than the seat I had the wood to build my rig in the garage luckily so it came together quite quickly. Initially I butchered an office chair to sit in. Broadbent's streams are very entertaining, I've enjoyed his recent exploits in real cars as well. I have a Logitech wheel but it’s set up for using at a desk rather than a full sim setup like yours which is impressive. I must say I've not yet found myself too drawn to ETS or ATS, I have spent a fair amount of time playing Mudrunner which is much the same concept but off-road with distinctly more bleak looking soviet equipment and landscapes. Mods have really bought that game alive though and some of the mountain passes are great fun to navigate. BeamNG is great fun also, I've been working myself up to buy Automation, to create my own cars (seemingly in a great level of detail in terms of the underpinnings) to then drive in BeamNG. Nice set up. I saw a video of Louise Cook using a pretty sophisticated rig with dirt 2.0? I think. She can certainly but a car through its paces, real or virtual. I've seen this, ended up watching her wrap her car off the back of that video. She can indeed hustle a car, having played some Dirt and Dirt 2.0 I end up with a distinctly more crumpled car with tree shaped indents if I try to replicate such things!

Forgot about mudrunner and the previous Spintires title. Both I’ve spent many hours wheeling around on and on multiplayer co-op-ing. Even released a map and a few crane mods, I think it was mudrunner they are for. Automation is good but can become repetitive, it is fun porting your cars to BeamNG to see how it all handles and drives though
