Any interest in an 80 Avant 16v? It's the 2.0 ACE engine. Metallic black, which looks good. Electric roof and windows. Air con too, but that doesn't work! Central locking which does.
I took pity on this as it had been hidden away in a garage for 5 years and needed saving. Any excuse for a project!
Over the last few months I have steadily worked my way through the car and have done anything needed doing, here's a list!
Cambellt and tensioner
Plugs
Air filter
Front lower arms
front droplinks
In tank fuel pump
oil and filter
gearbox oil change
New front brake discs, callipers and pads
new rear discs and pads
rear brake pipes
front brake pipes
all 8 (yes, 8!) flexi pipes renewed, new brake fluid
Fuel pipes to rear of car
4 x new Uniroyal rainsport tyres. Wheels are't brilliant, but perfectly presentable.
Many, many beer tokens spent!
Car is in pretty good condition all round, its not mint, but perfectly useable for retro parts hauler duties. Starts and runs well. Mileage is 193k (will double check), but i think mileometer is stuck. I will get it mot'd in the next couple of days.
Located Redditch, i'm asking £1450 but open to offers. I am under strict instructions to thin the fleet, my Fiat Uno has to go too.....
