So, this morning I took the Pontiac and popped over the border, well county, into bandit country, otherwise known as Lincolnshire, for a car meet.
As with the previous ones I have visited elsewhere, I am finding more and more tin that is of absolutely no interest to me whatsoever, the kind of stuff I could view at a non main dealer second hand car lot or even Tesco's.
Maybe it is my age but I have found it to be, at times, quite depressing!
Anyway, here are a few pics of vehicles that actually had me taking a second look. The modern Focus, while is deffo not my kind of thing, should be admired for the work carried out on it, it was mint!
The U.S yellow cab and Patrol car, again, are of no interest to me but were a couple of curiosities worth taking a photo of.
My dear Texan friend will, no doubt, be pulling those apart for all the inaccuracies. She is staggered that people like to drive around the UK in American cop car replicas.
...and the cleanest one of the lot and a lesson in how to modify an 80s saloon with subtlety and class was this Granada.
Factory colour, basic 'L' interior in mint condition, parts bin Granada alloys and lowered a bit.
It was the car of the meet for me.
