spray bottle for traffic film remover?

every spray bottle i have bought to put traffic film remover in has started leaking in a short time, as if the seals cannot tolerate the TFR, is there a sprayer (pump up type preferably) that actually lasts?

I had a similar issue, I found the ones cartec sell don’t dissolve.

I have one that came with a tub of bilberry wheel cleaner, its had neat acid in it and been fine for 5 years. I'll try and dig it out later and find a name. I know it had a white head with red trigger...

I got one of the 10l pressure sprayers from eurocarparts for mine, it's lasted 3 years with almost neat tfr in it.
They're available in 8l too from Amazon

I've got a cheap one from Toolstation but I've always diluted the TFR at least 50% before using it. It actually dissolved the tube on a normal squirty bottle when I tried it neat.

thanks. i don't buy from Amazon and 8L would be too big but will check out the others. I think rubber doesn't mind acid, whatever is in TFR seems hard going on rubber though even at 30-50% dilution.

Some spray bottles are available with a Viton seal which is chemical resistant.

If you flashy recomend you buy the colad presure one,(not 3 pieces colourd kit) else, the autosmart work a treat 👍 brake cleaner, paint thinners, tfr, put anything through them.

Bought this one, 17 quid. Appears to be the same one as the Autosmart, but 9 quid cheaper.

Update, this one has died. Really not had much use but has completely failed like all the other bottles.

What dilution ratio are you using for the TFR?

Some TFRs are designed not to be used neat, and advised on the label not to do so, so that the bodywork doesn't get tarnished over time.

While I'm say it's not the cause, it may not help.

I say as while I'm sure you probably are more careful, a couple of chaps at work would go in for a 'balls out' ratio, and then moan at

-Equipment failing
-Issues in the field with paint defects

I dilute the TFR approx 30-40% TFR rest water, and use it quite minimally on the cars.
