What’s it worth, what is it?! Gearbox content

Got this gearbox with a load of MGB stuff but I’m pretty sure it’s not related. Can anyone id it? Apologies for the poor photos but there aren’t many identifying marks on it!

Why not try an established gearbox specialist, they may have an old boy who makes the tea? Otherwise, ask on Rods n sods, Let us know how you get on.

I suspected it may be Rootes, e.g., Hillman, or possibly Humber (with the HG lettering).
