Call me biased but I'm honestly not. They are a darn good car and underrated imo. Hey, Dan what about shocks to match the new springs? Are you a tad low in the rear? If so just go up to a thicker spring pad. Keep up the good work and we'll all be watching to see if keep those new wheels clean New shocks soon,I fitted thinner rear spring pads last week !

Picked up from orbit wheels today Tyres to sort now and get them on These wheels are just what I'm looking for for my 71 Mercedes 250/8, rather bizarrely when I found the Orbit website the contact details don't seem to exist. I've tried their website on my laptop and phone but still no details, could I please ask how you managed to contact them?

Been looking for something else to tinker with The Rover 600 I tried to buy didnt come off But last night I found this whilst scouring the net 56,000 mile Mondeo mk2 ghia x auto In dry storage two years so I need my pal to transport it home this week, very tidy just needs a good few days detailing, then maybe wheels and 30mm lower Just thought to myself last night I haven’t seen a good one for ages so went over and paid for it this morning

Really? They look good on smaller cars to me, not sure about this one. They do go with the soft lines of the car. But surely, knowing our man Dan, something left field will appear. Or an item from his massive loft of joyous pleasant roundness. I may have to sneak up there in the morning to have a sniff aroundthough.

Really? They look good on smaller cars to me, not sure about this one. They did come on a smaller version of the Escort Cosworth rims from the factory. Seems there is already a Mk2 Mondeo running them But i'm sure Dan has a plan, he has a good eye.

Thanks , yes have a few ideas, basically the car is as it left the factory no rot or damage on the body itself Bit it does have a crack in the rear bumper , I plan to get this off and take it to a pals bodyshop and get it repaired properly Shopping around atm for some springs and shocks Wheels ….well I’m looking for understated too many of these cars end up looking awful , factory look should be fine

Bit it does have a crack in the rear bumper I thought this was factory fit on all Mondeos. Its proably confusing on yours because the factory fitted cover is missing (black gaffa tape)

Is this a 4x108 ford? How about an old audi rim in 6x15 IIRC? A design You could similarly find on Porsches and Mercs.

So tonight I got a few hours in detailing the Mondeo, it’s obviously not a build thread more of a tidy up and slight modify To give people an idea of the cars condition I took a few more pics tonight Done a claybar treatment followed by a full autofinesse polish Then I cleaned and treated the leather seats with gliptone products
