I am listing a couple of Brat Pickups, with the aim to sell one and keep one....
This one is a 1982 import from the US, Ohio I believe.
Its a very rare truck, the shell is slightly different to the UK ones, with a real cool roof vent over the cab.
All relevant paperwork is with it in order to register it over here, and shipping duty's etc all paid for.
The bonus of this truck is that its rock solid, has never been welded up, and has never seen rust like most of the UK versions have.
Over in the US it had lots of modifications carried out, it was running a Subaru Forester engine and box, and was fitted with a custom roll cadge to the rear to carry a roof tent.
The truck has been built to good standards and lots of time and money thrown at it.
Looks like it drove over a rock or something at speed as the front when has hit the a-pillar causing the shell to distort, and causing damage to the wing, and creasing the roof.
Ideally needs to go on a jig and straightened out, think its well worth saving, as its totally rust free.
Engine, box, roof tent, seats and dash have been stripped out and removed. May be other bits missing too.
Really cool badges fitted to rear tailgate, the UK ones only have 4WD stickers.
Lots of LED lights fitted, and really heavy duty and unusual front nudge bar and rear full width steel tube bumper.
Keys are present.
No windscreen.
US spec chrome front bumper with end caps.
Very fun project that I would love to build for myself.
Do know of a US spec 'spares' car available with engine, glass, LHD dash, interior, front grille and quad headlamps etc. That car is more or less complete, and with this truck could provide all the parts needed.
Will add a couple of pics of it back in the States on expeditions.
Delivery available if required at cost.
Located Hertfordshire.
Thanks, Matt
