Due to another project needing more work than expected, I'm looking to sell my Audi 90
I bought the Audi as non runner with no MOT from the original owner, this was last year and I got the car running and though an MOT last year, I have been using it on off, until recently when it started to cut out intermittently
The car itself is in acceptable condition, it has a full service history with every receipt it seems, even one for a full respray at Audi in the 90's and the original order form and bill of sale, there are 3 sets of keys also
The paint has some lacquer peel and is dull on the bonnet, roof and boot lid, the sides of car are pretty straight and clean however the original wheels which it come with could do with a refurb, but have 2 near new tyres and 2 good but older tyres
The engine has had since I had it
It starts reliably and when running pulls well, sounds good. It does have an intermittent noisy lifter (apparently common on the kv engine fitted here)
When running it drives well, comfortable quiet, gearbox quite and changes nicely, brakes work well and have a fair amount of life left in them.
The electric windows, sunroof, central locking, radio cassette, extra gauges exterior lights, electric mirrors and even air con ALL WORK!
The ABS, boot light switch, odometer, multifunction computer and clock ALL don't!
the interior lights work but have the fuse removed as the inoperative switch drained the battery.
Overall a mot'd solid rare car which would make a lovely usable car, I have loved driving it around, extra points for taking child seats and a buggy in the boot!
Just needs someone with some more time to sort the cutting out!
