For sale - my 2000 Porsche Boxster S 3.2 Manual in Speed Yellow.
Make - Porsche
Model - Boxster S 3.2
Gearbox - Manual
Registered - May 2000
MOT - May 2023
Colour - Speed Yellow
Mileage - 133,700
I've owned the car for just over a year, it's been a pleasure for both myself and my Dad who very much enjoyed borrowing it from me! We've done just under 4000 miles in it over the year.
When i purchased the car the clutch needed doing. I had this completed at my local Porsche specialist "PCT Select" who also inspected the (double row) IMS bearing and replaced the seal whilst in there. I had them fit a very nice Design 911 Stainless backbox which sounds incredible!! I changed the 17" stock wheels for the much more desirable 18" Twists (proper Boxster ones) and fitted 4x Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, all of which have nearly all their tread remaining.
The car has Metropolitan Blue interior and roof. The interior is in great condition, but If i'm honest, the touch points in the car such as the door pulls and the centre fascia are scratched up and could do with addressing.. I fitted a GT3 centre console delete as i needed the knee room (original parts are provided), which gives it the traditional Porsche floating dash style.
The roof is also ageing and though it keeps the water out perfectly well, i have found a pinhole in the material at the bottom of the screen. The screen is also very opaque, you may be able to rescue it with polish but i think the roof ideally just needs replacing all up soon. I've factored this into my asking price.
All in, it's a nice example of a modern classic, made even better by the fact it's not silver or dark blue!
I'm aware it's in need of some small improvements, but i'm sure the look and sound will have you won over..
So:
POSTIVES:
