1999 Mercedes W202 C200 auto. Rainham, swapped and gone.

Still for sale. I've been let down with 4 possible replacements now.
It's no different to the original description. Still has the paint defects and vandal scratches, but is still totally reliable.

I may well be needing a temporary car soon that i can jump in, use for a bit then move on again....i may have missed it but can't see how many miles its done?  Any mechanical issues i should know about?  I know nothing about these but do they have a cambelt or chain?  Is any routine maintenance (such as cambelt) due?

I really like this, but have zero need for it. Desperately trying to think how I can justify it I'll share it with a couple of Merc fanatic friends too!

No mechanical issues. They are a chain driven engine. It's done between 130 and 131 thousand miles. Be aware it does have paintwork issues though, but it's still presentable.

They won’t come much cheaper
I’ve been actively following and buying these for years
Prices are starting to rise rapidly, that car with some tlc will be a great buy

I think it is a bit of a bargain, but would it tickle anyone's fancy if I reduce it by 50 quid to £700?
I really can't go much lower, or I won't have enough money to replace it.

Sorry, no service history, no handbooks either. I will throw in a Haynes though.
I'm about 10/15 minutes from the crossing.

That's ok Dan. There's every chance this will be gone Monday evening. As it stands, I'm swapping it for a compliant car. Everything being well, I'll do the big reveal on Tuesday, if anyone's interested. I will be sorry to see the Merc go though, but we've got to keep Mayor Kahn happy, haven't we.😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬 I'll also miss that gunsight on the bonnet.
