Owned this Nova since October 2017, and have covered 470miles in it.... hence the reason for sale being lack of use. Car has covered 92 miles since last mot.
In my ownership it has had the following;
Front discs, pads and calipers
Two rear brake cylinders
Two rear shock absorbers from a gmax kit
Ht leads
Ignition coil
Spark Plugs
A weld to battery tray and crossmember
4 Yokohama tyres
New Pierberg carb
Most recent work;
Timing belt, water pump (Gates)
Thermostat
Oil & filter (Ac Delco & Castrol)
Coolant change (Comma G48)
Radiator
Exide battery
Exhaust from downpipe (wrong downpipe supplied)
Heater blower fan is seized, I have a replacement but haven't dared try take the plastic cowling off.
Car is stock apart from the rear shocks. I had intended to engine transplant, wheels etc... but have left as nature intended. Old shocks were advisory on mot 2019.
In my opinion the suspension needs replaced all round due to age.
Car drives as it should, regulates its own temperature and will hold idle off choke when warm. Timing set.
I have all old MOT certs, backing up the mileage.
There were advisories on 2010 mot about rust on sills; this is starting to show again, also on bottom of doors couple of scabs and nearside rear arch. All still magnetic... I have left as is for prospective owners attention. I have found work required offside inner arch tub.
It has seen paint in the past which is expected of a car of this age and model...
One of 4 taxed and on road Q1 2022 as per how many left.
Will get more pics next opportunity.
£2900 ono
Thanks
Sold pending collection...
