If anyone is looking for accommodation for the weekend close to Goodwood, we have some lovely country 1 and 2 bedroom self-catering cottages 15 mins away from the track, with secure gated parking.

I have a classic myself and they're the kind of place I'd be happy to stay, knowing that my car was close by and safe.

Once the applications are shut, is that when we'll be able to edit our applications? Just worried that both myself and my brother were unable to upload pictures to our applications at the time, so don't want our applications being overlooked because of no pics. Cheers

Wandering if my E46 would count, it didn't quite make it to Mallory Park but wandering given the generation was designed in the 1990s and released in 1998. Is there any areas for these generation of car? or just in the general paddock

General rule is no new registrations iirc so if it’s pre 51 plate it’s ‘ok’.

Hi there, essentially yes, it wasn't designed to be this way, just took a while longer to make the edit work how I wanted. Should be done by mid-week and emails will be sent out.

it's an early 52 plate.. so just outside. but been informed i could book it on track (Sam Carpenter had a major hand in building the engine for this) so i can stretch all 261bhp

Had some fun time out in mini zcar last year..(white with blue squares for those who were there) (btw... paint still bad but it's now gunmetal with silver squares...plus a load of upgrades/tidying)

Last year. I rocked up with conversion finally done after 15 years and it showed on the car. Untested apart from a BRIEF trip down motorway.road legal!

Had fuelling problem..but was going well prior and after pitwork where I borrowed some tools from the classic boys

We worked bloody hard to get it out for last run but only just made it thanks to kindness of organisers.

I now have custom artwork on my wall of that day like a storyboard.. I am a grrc member and to make it round Goodwood was proper magical for me.


I have to give a special callout to all the people at the campsite that helped me with my fuelling problem..it was so friendly. I was worried putting all my old hillclimbing gear on I would be laughed at as most people were only in long sleeves but in a car like mine (where you can't smell anyway) the threat of fire is real so I dusted my old clothes off .

I pulled off track after the run into what I know as the assembly area..and the clerk of the course was over for a look. Inside the car was smoke filled and I had to ask him if he could smell it as electric or something worse ...(in my hillclimbing days I would have never have guts to ask that but.he was so approachable)

Later that night, the peeps of the campsite came over.. all had great ideas and we had such a constructive chat..even though by then I had plenty of champagne-simply for not dying:)!!! I took some ideas away but for those who remember it was just a dodgy fuel filter.. weather allowing I hope to prove that April 1st on my trackday prior to Goodwood retro.

Anyway. What a great meet...I just wish Mallory park was closer and I would so that too.

Shout out to the organisers..I don't think we all understand how much work it takes.

Our newly converted barn apartment is now available to book through my wife's holiday website here. We're only 15-20 mins drive from the Goodwood Circuit and we have secure, private parking with CCTV right next to the barn.
