This thought has crossed my mind quite a few times whilst lurking on here but today I thought I'll just ask the question. Does anyone else share my love of these vehicles ? Woodie or Woody which ever you prefer you know the ones I mean, like this vvv I bought this one quite a number of years ago, not a full blown Woody as such but as soon as I saw the pics I was off another trip down south but this one was of the few trips that was well worth it looking back, I probably should have kept it but I got talked into selling it and I had seen something else and we all know how that works. please feel free to add pics and comments

I've nothing useful to add other than I love Woody Wagon. I had one of the Hot wheels below as a boy and have wanted one ever since. I did look for a Moggy Traveller for a while (Woody lite) but never found a good one and prices have gone upwards somewhat since then.

Love a woody wagon I've thought about woodying up several projects over the years including the current one but never quite had the bottle. Or a house in a climate suitable.

Last we saw it was with a dealer up North. I think I had it for a couple of years then got talked into selling it when it was in my mates garage for a couple of small jobs. One of his mates bought it and he had a hotel up in Port Patrick near Stranraer at the time. I know he had to sell it a few years later. I did try to track it down when I heard he'd sold it but I didn't have any luck. I had another go about 3 years ago but failed again.

Generally speaking I think a Woodie nearly always looks cool. There's always one that doesn't though...... I give you the US version of the Talbot Horizon 'woodie'...........

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!
