I'm sure alot of us have done this at some point when getting nostalgic about our old cars, recently I've checked online and found that two of them might possibly survive. An since then I can't get them out my head!
My first car which I brought at 15 was a 1986 Talbot Samba Style, 954cc in Silver with a Grey interior. Offside rear quarter had some poorly repaired damage by a previous owner and paint was faded across the roof. Registration number C347 KDA.
Sold it in 2005 to a bloke from either the Peak District or Yorkshire, apparently he had a massive collection of Ford Consul's / Zephyr/ Zodiacs as well as a Red Samba Convertible.
The Samba is showing as untaxed since April 2006, but another site I've found also shows it as not being registered scrapped unlike some of my previous cars. So hopefully it still around somewhere.
The second car is my 1990 Fiat Tipo 1.4 DGT in Silver with a Blue interior, it had MK1 Punto 1.2 16V alloys fitted. Registration number G536 BDP.
I sold it in about 2007 and I think from memory, that the person who brought it off me lived in the Cannock area and also owned a Red BMW E36 4dr at the time.
Car is currently on SORN and Mot expired in May 2008.
Obviously my chances are slim on both, but if don't ask you don't get.
If anyone knows of either cars current whereabouts etc, it would be greatly appreciated.
