I currently use NGK BPR6FS plugs in the Pop, never missed a beat and runs well but they are always a little sooty/oily when taken out.
I used these as they were recommended as a nice short (ceramic) plug and were 'about right' to start with.
I think I need to go a heat range hotter so a NGK BPR5FS - so far so good - except there are 3 versions of it!!
NGK BPR5FS (standard) part No 2423 NGK BPR5FS-15 (standard) part No 3124 NGK BPR5FS-11 (standard) part No 2924
All appear to be physically the same so does anyone know the difference and which is better?

Ah! cheers Glen. I set mine at 50 thou anyway for the MSD ign.
I have found the -11 is a fixed terminal and the -15 and the std one are both 4mm ends (I assume with the screw on adaptors?).
Odd though as there is a wide price difference between them?

Loads of plugs these days are not intended to be re-gapped, NGK rep said certainly to check them but due to they way they package them and their QC they should be good to go out of the box.
Can't answer the pricing, I use BCpr7es or 8es in my citroen which are under a tenner a set, standard were bkr6ek.

Just for a point of interest, NGK UK are based in Hemel Hempsted only a call away and were always very helpful

I like NGK plugs, cheap, pre-gapped and reliable. My MR2 runs on BCPR6EY11, I get them for under £2 each from eBay (free delivery). At that price I just bin them and fit a new set every service.
