Agree, some nice & interesting cars... Though some just examples of too much money &/or a wish to shock with dubious taste.

I thought it looked like a jeepster. Seems You are right. Jeepster Commando, around 1968. Never heard of. I wonder what car does the body come from?

Have actually seen the Espada in the flesh at SEMA in 2019. It was a weird experience, I knew about the car before hand and was looking forward to seeing it. However it felt weirdly anonymous in person, considering how outrageous the build is. Maybe it was just the jetlag and it being part of a show where there is so much going on that I couldn't really give it the attention it deserves. When people are dropping their super cars on air and throwing wide body kits on them, this is still the car I come to for being a fully committed no going back custom supercar (well... GT I guess).

For an artist he's pretty blinkered in his vision, just a suggestion 🤷♂️

Its not my cup of tea but as you outlined at the start Grizz, there is no denying the talent and effort that has went into the builds. Very impressive.

I utterly detest his stuff. It reeks of super-rich daddy sends talentless son to art college to make a name for himself.

Odd that the fact that was an actual Lamborghini Espada is just kind of lost in the mix, as there's so much other stuff on it to look at. It's somehow less mad than a stock one. He certainly seems not to deviate from his 'recipe' much.

I thought as we have some strongly opinionated members, I would dig a bit deeper into who this artist is. Possibly like Richard Branson, who is the face of Virgin, but actually surrounds himself with capable, likeminded people, Danton could do the same. For people who have a sh1t ton of money, normal is just too normal, and these suppliers cater for them, just like all the premium brands do. Danton Art Kustoms is the official tuner for everyone who has unusual desires and an individual character. The company is considered the artist in the industry, putting together absolutely one-of-a-kind pieces and creating works of art that the world has never seen before. Although Danton Art Costumes primarily pays attention to an unusual and innovative look that makes you think, the quality is not neglected either. It shouldn't be a typical work of art that you put in a corner and look at occasionally, but a vehicle that can be used and that causes a stir on the street. Danton Art Kustoms is primarily known for the different variations of hot rod tuning, which often consists of a Jeep Wrangler or a Lamborghini is realized. This means that the company is a win for customers who, although they collect art, would also like to use it to openly show how diverse the world can be. There is more about the company dantonartskustoms.com. Alexandre Danton Just thinking about making any changes to one of them may seem a profanation. Alexandre Danton, owner of the french garage Danton Arts Kustoms, is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and start ripping off an automotive relic which the espada actually represent. I hope HoTWire knows a bit more about him, and can share with us.
