Yup.
Liking that.
So many subjects to cover in the realm of the automotive hobby.

That last pic of the disintegrating spokes is astonishing. Awesome timing/luck from the photographer.

Oddly this one should have happened. It's from the World Wheelie Championships. There's plenty of videos on YouTube, looks like a proper laugh.

Let's just gather once in a lifetime moments, when happily there was someone with a camera there to capture it! Good to see the Bugatti and Aston still exist, according to the DVLA.

I would guess the Aston pic is not that long ago? Goodwood probably?

Yes, most likely. I guess someone didn't hit the wheel locking ears with enough clout from a mallet.

That VW was still driveable after the tree folded it, after a fashion.

Hi, One of the most ubiquitous pictures of wartime home front damage. Colin Tbh, I don't get what happened here, do You know the story behind? A WWII bomb that exploded much later? Oddly this one should have happened. It's from the World Wheelie Championships. There's plenty of videos on YouTube, looks like a proper laugh. Ah, I thought he tried without wheelie bars and failed. Which direction did he came down after wards? Roof or wheels? Wow. Reason No 197 not to buy a VW bus That tree doesn't look that heavy to cause such damage. But since the bus was brazilian, the tree maybe too and it was veeerry high and in a respectable distance before it fell and hit the bus? Let's just gather once in a lifetime moments, when happily there was someone with a camera there to capture it! Good to see the Bugatti and Aston still exist, according to the DVLA. I'm sure the d type jag and the SLR do still exist, too. Too precious to scrap after such a minor damage.
btw. those pics of flying rallye fords are not that unusual, especially if the photographers know where to expect this to happen. Open doors or bonnets are rather unexpecteter!

Hi, One of the most ubiquitous pictures of wartime home front damage. Colin Hi, There was an air raid in early September 1940 and a bomb landed in Harrington Square NW London, in the foreground of the picture where the edge of the crater is and the blast blew the bus into the building. Because there was an air raid warning the driver and conductor had vacated the bus and were safely in the shelter and survived unharmed. Whether that's true because of public morale could be open to debate. Colin

One of the teacher's cars at Boarding School after the Hurricane in 1987. There was also a Mk3 Escort that was flattened but I am struggling to find it... Edit - here it is! Said teacher apparently burst into tears when he saw the damage because a) he'd just bought it and b) he hadn't actually sent off his insurance forms yet...

There’s a prolific photographer called Arnold Odermatt who was a Swiss police officer and is credited as being the first person to incorporate photography into crash scene investigations. I could quite easily dump a whole load of pictures here but I recommend seeking them out yourself. But here’s a little taster of their work. Image Source / Interview with the photographer.
