Right ok so I'm more and more confused what to do. Just to recap i have a mgtf front subframe, pg1 box. I will use the car for going to car shows, and ill use it for odd days out. I have a bmw compact rally car, so if i want to do any fast road stuff, i can use that. The main concern with the R100 is that it dosnt kill me when i boot it. The engine to be fair is amazing, and i bit too quick or what i want, but if i rebuild a 1400 or a 1800, it was the same price, and i got 2 1800;s for £120!
Now i could get mgtf rear shocks and fit them to the tf subframe and fit that, and i could individualised the rear after getting them regassed. The rear shocks and springs seem to be quite expensive new though, but that is ok if it works. The arms on the subframe seem to be a lot stronger too. I don't know if the geometry is different? It has the better rack on it too, is it orange or something?
Id rather stick with the hydro units, its easier, less work to be honest. Also fit the front shocks. But i don't know how well itll work and therefore wasting money and time.
