If its a flat glass it should be easy enuough to get a pair cut in laminated glass, and there must be a standard section of rubber seal which can be used to make a seal (would need cutting and gluing in the corners.
I've no idea if they are the same but the boot handles do look very similar to an Imp.
The number plate light trim also looks like a salon herlad part.

After a hearty plate of kedgeree I wandered down the garden to the fat cave, and low in the deepest darkest corners I found many more boxes of herald parts. I'm getting there,

Not sure I've ever seen a project where the rebuild is going to be the easier part!! I didn't realise that Heralds were quite so 'modular' either! Looks like a great project, will be watching with interest (while feeling bad about not being working on my beetle!)

Hi Dan, welcome to the World of Herald Estates!
Lloks good, you've got all the important estatey bits, roof looks good, especially the C pillars. Also the tailgates rot, in time-honoured Triumph tradition, at the bottom edge. As I said, Rimmers do the Side Glass seals. The roof C pillar to tub seals are unobtainable, I did 3d CAD models of them but haven't had any printed yet, so I made a steel template from a repro one. I'll make you a couple if you like, they're not quite as the originals but they are near enough unless you're really bothered about originality.

Hi Charles and welcome to the wonderful world of Retro Rides. I'm sure you will fit right in. Yes please I'll have a couple of pillar seals, when you get around to them. Me bothered about originality 🤣🤣🤣 Dan

Hi Dan, just remembered I've got a LH Door skin I got from Jigsaw years ago, you are welcome to it if you find a door in need of same. Also I've got a spare central chrome trim on the Tailgate above the number plate. The Estate ones are different from the Vitesse ones which (unsurprisingly) have "Vitesse" on them and which also incorporate a reversing light. Is the rear roof trim above the tailgate amongst the parts you bought? If not, it can be tricky to find, though Fitchetts occasionally list bits of it on Ebay. It's different from the Saloon rear roof trim and comprises 7 pieces.

It's funny you should mention the numberplate trim as one of the reasons I went into the deepest darkest regions of the Pig Sty was to look for a numberplate light trim, I know I had one, and eventually I found it, well actually I didn't as unsurprisingly it had Vitesse written across it, so yes please. If you want the door skin out of your way, I'll happily find a home for it, thank you. I have some trims I haven't gone through yet, as I've buried them, so finger crossed. If you can make next month's Hull Club Triumph meeting, it's on the first Monday of every month, at Sandpiper pub Melton HU14 3FQ, it would be good to see you again. And for that matter any of the Retro Ride community are most welcome too, we don't mind what people drive or enjoy even MG's as long as they enjoy them. Dan

Looks like a great project, will be watching with interest (while feeling bad about not being working on my beetle!) That's the great thing with heralds and vitesse's, (excluding the 948 and very early 1200 cars), barring 2 brackets on the front all the chassis are the same, there are 3 bonnet styles 1200, 13/60 and vitesse, all the bulkheads are the same, all the doors are the same with 2 shapes of glass, and there are 3 body tubs, saloon, convertible or estate/van. Then there are the Bonds' which utilizes a slightly modified herald chassis and standard bulkhead and doors with different glass, with a GRP bonnet and body with spitfire or later, Vitesse running gear. So yes a very modular car indeed

Oh man, I'm banned from making kedgeree while my other half is in the house. I'm jealous! Rollmops I'm allowed, but only if I eat them in another room If you happen to have a set of complete rear drums knocking around I'd love to know what they weigh. Backplates and mechanism and everything. Might be able to contribute some bits from my Spitfire stash if you need them.

I won't tell you about the poached, undyed smoked haddock we had for dinner the other night then. I'm sure I can piece it together, ill try to do it over the weekend. do you have a MK 1or2 spitfire exhaust manifold? otherwise ill have to use the trampoline manifold as there is no way ill fit the terrible, strangulating piece of cast iron carp, triumph used. This one lives locally and is out regularly, which is always a nice thing to see. Best of luck with your jigsaw puzzle!

Thanks, vulgalourThis evening after work I came home to a flourish of work in the workshop, Barry has been getting on with replacing the floor pan and 3 of the 4 body mountings on the bond bulkhead, but ill post some pics and an update on that thread, I donned the head torch of much brightness and carried on sorting through my herald parts, I found 2 more boxes hiding in the pigsty, hopefully that will be the last of them Dan

This post was going to be titled "Oops I Did It Again", until on the way home i remembered Jimmy Cricket's catchphrase, "And There's More, And there's More". But back to the start. If you can remember back to last weekend, I had to leave the crusty straight 6 and even more crusty bonnet at Eric's as I had run out of room and weight in the Van, Connor had said he was going to collect them for me, but I couldn't let him do it by himself, I jumped in the car and drove up there 2hrs, about 30 mins out I got a call from Connor saying he was going to be a bit late as there had been a bit of an accident, it turned out the ramp for the trailer had come undone, and the tail board had smashed on to the road, luckily no one else was involved, when I got to Eric's he was surprised to see me, not Conner after a quick explanation and the offer of a Coffee we went out to the garage to get the bonnet out, I immediately spotted I had missed 2 shelves of bits, mostly door and side panel trims, and a few other bits loaded in to the Mighty Jizz looked like this. Then we moved the engine out, and winched it up the driveway, just as it got to the top. The winch jammed, and we had has to play the song We got it on the trailer with a couple of ratchet straps, Connor insisted it wasn't anywhere as sketchy as his usual antics, lol. Then, when we had pushed it to the headboard Connor announced he needed to cut off the plank that was poking out the side of the engine trolley, I'll get a saw says Connor. So after the engine was loaded I shot off to the nearest halfords to buy a replacement tail board which was, much to the surprise of the shop assistant, in stock and much to my surprise only £30. With that in hand we headed back to Connors through floods and a ford, and a very tight squeeze past a Royal Mail van on a barely single track road, come to think about it, I'm more surprised to see a Royal Mail Van out on a Sunday.

I do like the way the switches and extra gauges were added, it looks like an ally plate with some vinyl glued on which looks to have been glued on to the dash Unfortunately it covers one of the dash screws, so it's going to have to be removed, luckily I have another 1200 dash. I also noticed a big split in the driver side toe board.

If you're stuck for seals, you could reach out to Bill Davies, "Rarebits4Classics" on Facebook, he definitely had some window seals about 6 years ago when we were throwing our estate back together, but in the end we just bodged it with Tiger Seal and cunningly fitting the windows whilst dropping the roof on (so we didn't have to mess with the hard and perished original seals). Although, it seems like he's mostly stopped producing parts now.
The C-pillar seals, I'm not sure if they'll actually be a show stopper, you could make some up from some suitably thick EPDM sheet, you won't have be able to recreate the edge moulding though.
Good luck with the project, watching with interest.
