Don't see what it has to do with Paul's VW variant build ? would it not be better in it's own thread ? It has nothing to with any of greandes creations, only the wagon on a 4x4 chassis is the thing in common. I put in here, since apart from the pics I have no other infos for an individual thread. But grenade might be interested in the mentioned FB group (if he doesn't already know it or is part of it).

I get email notifications if I'm tagged on RR- that's how I knew this was here. I think I am a member of that flakebook group, although I hit snooze on it because it was overloading at times. It looks as if the build braaap has presented here is of FAAaaaarr better build quality than most of the stuff I do! I see a bunch of new floor pan and fabricated sills done very well. I'm more of a "Beat it to fit & Paint it to match" kind of guy. That's not to say that I cannot build to this level- it's always about time for me. I don't like spending more than 25-45 days on any one car. It's the numbers. I want a million different cars and a person only has so much time in life. Get them in, get them back on the road and get another one! Oh, and make them affordable to almost anyone. Perfection and beauty certainly have their place, but perfection is rarely profitable at this level. Currently I'm working on a 1969 Corvette wiring project that needed finishing. A group of old guys couldn't finish it and they called me for help. I'll stick a pic in this thread or one of the other ones as it's not enough for a proper thread, but cool car none the less. I love the workmanship on that build but it's done too well for me
