Yeah, that is pretty steep. Going by that number it makes a lot less sense. I guess I keep forgetting that, since I have been hoarding Webers for a long time ( from back when junkyards had rusted out Alfas in them that came with DCOE's). I'd just have to buy an intake and 2 rebuild kits...

You may aswell look at doing a head porting job, a higher lift cam and suitable exhaust manifold while you're at! Just saying... I'll get my coat😁

You may aswell look at doing a head porting job, a higher lift cam and suitable exhaust manifold while you're at! Just saying... I'll get my coat😁 The great thing about buying a 924 is the small outlay and surely, they must be one of the best kept secrets, a quality motor car and such excellent value. Why they are not more popular eludes me. The same chap who makes the EFI kits also offers a supercharging kit for the 924 based on the Eaton M45 blower. This gives a 30% increase in power and an excellent option in addition to the EFI kit. This would bring the power up from 125 to over 160bhp with low end grunt where you want it. Pretty much 924 Turbo performance for a fraction of the price of a turbo car.

I love K-Jet. I know, I'm probably the only one.

I’ve owned a number of cars fitted with K Jet and it works well when everything is in good condition and apart from difficulty in hot starting on my car it performs very well. My concern is that some components are NLA and there aren’t many specialists to sort out problems with the metering head.
I made the decision to take the efi route, not for improved performance but for easy availability of the component parts and to be programmable.
Although Ciprian has made quite a few batches of efi kits, I don’t think anyone had done rolling road comparisons pre and post efi which is what I intend to do and the results should be interesting.

I love K-Jet. I know, I'm probably the only one. I sincerely believe that people who love K-Jet are just suffering from stockholm syndrome.
