Not strictly retro....but it would have to be..... I've had two of them and regret ever selling them.... Now I can understand that and this is my current daily drive but it definately doesn't fit into a car for everything - well not what I like to do with cars anyway

Boring, predictable, not even vaguely daring ... but I don't care. (Professionals photo is entirely deliberate ... accidental)

In my experience, probably something reliable comfortable and quick enough, a bit like my old Xedos 9

If you don't have options, quality is irrelevant. If I had to have one car for the rest of my life, I would soon hate it, and loose all interest in cars completely. Doesn't matter what it was, I would soon hate it.
That said.. I'd need something big enough to carry motorbikes around in..

Ditto. Although I really couldn't keep my spanners off it for long I don't think!

Doesn't matter what it was, I would soon hate it. With you there. I couldn't live without 2CVs in my life but when faced with using one as my sole car, it takes a few weeks before I've had enough! In fact, it did so I bought the Merc. Polar opposites and perfect companions.

Just nudges ahead of an RS4 Avant by virtue of the attitude it has.......

jolly pain in the backside! The one time I try to illustrate my point and make the thread a bit prettier, I got and choose a fake motor <insert picture of real Lotus Carlton> Hey a lot of people were fooled by that one - as I said it was a very very tidy replica - even with the bonnet up it had people fooled A real one and a pretty picture - There you go

I'd have to choose a bmw, I recon the right one could actualy last you a lifetime ;D Practical, comfy, fast & deadly reliable.
Probably a 5 series touring with a nice big engine, that would suit my lifestyle pretty well.
