Friday 23rd August, about 2pm a pair of traveller thieving bastards drove into my mates' parents' yard between Yeovil and Sherborne and hitched up our 14ft Ifor Williams twin axle trailer with my spare Capri shell on it and drove off. It wasn't strapped to the trailer, and the bonnet wasn't attached to the car, so I'm still hoping that it came loose enough to cause a memorable incident somewhere nearby.
The car's reg is B775 XOO, and the vin is WF0CXXGAECDU21128. It's a light electric/metallic blue (not a ford colour), and only has rear suspension. There's no motor/gearbox/front suspension, the interior's fairly complete and in good condition.
The trailer's a 14ft Ifor Williams twin axle flatbed trailer, with a hand winch in the front bulkhead, ramps under the bed, and the sides removed but under the car - again unsecured when they took it. The tail board of the trailer is really tatty, and the floor boards are pretty ruined.
Driving home from work, a blue thing went past me. I gave it full-on WTF-face, didnt have a clue what it was, never seen one before, what could it be?
Not my picture, but I had no means of getting one. After a bit of googleing ive worked out it was a 1969 Metrocab prototype. Which is a shame because it means there isnt another one available for me to do wheels and lows and stuff to. Damn cool nonetheless.
