Tax until Jan 05, MOT March 05. just turned 135k miles.
Service stamps to 108k, I bought it at 118k and took over from there.
Solid reliable. Needs Cosmetics and minor.
£1200 or offers (all sensible offers accepted, stupid ones may even be considered, but can't partex.)
lots of reciepts for work done (timing chain, dumpvalve, wheelbearings, ball joints, some welding, shocks, tyres, CV boots etc), plus all the old MOTs bar one, and the service book and owners manual pack.
The repairs needed are, a replacement oil cooler (so that's where the oil went, loses about 3/4 litre over 3k miles), lower wishbone bushes on the passenger side (they have worn a little with all the oil), at least one engine mount, they are 20 years old next month, so it occasionally pops out of gear on corners, and the gear waggles arround when you boot it. Both these points haven't really deteriorated, and it has passed the last two MOTs fine.
Oil changed every 3k miles only ever used 5w40 synth, or 10w40 semi synth (factory is 10w30 mineral) since I bought it.
Interior good, but one trim piece has been replace (grey centre box instead of burgundy because I buggered up the original when I fitted the car PC. That has been removed and replacement console fitted, could easily be recarpetted.
Has had new shocks all round, new Calipers and discs at the front, new tyres all round about 15k miles ago, rears like new, fronts have about 1.5mm above the wear marker.
New Bailey alloy recirc valve for the turbo, almost all the vac hoses replaced with Silicon. cheap cone filter fitted but I still have the original airbox and intake that you will get too.
Has had all the speakers replaced with 4" (factory size) kickers front and rear, it currently has a Blaupunkt Modena CD53 CD player with Aux input for Laptop/Ipod/Walkman. if it gets close to asking, the CD player stays, or the Saab Clarion radio cassette goes back in. But you get the saab radio included anyway.
The boot contains the full original saab jack/spare/toolkit including an unused black plastic sack to hold the replaced tyre so you don't get the boot carpet dirty.
No smoke from the turbo. No structural rot, just needs the body tidying. The body problems have been there since I bought the car, and have gotten no worse, and corrosion has never been a problem at MOT time.
I need to clear this car as I'm buying another very shortly. If I already get the new one, I may accept a stupid offer.
Get yourself some turbo loving goodness. I've tried to be honest even if I am going to lose on the price.
