is anybody at all going to back me up here? ;D No,.. Any "motorsport" where the over taking is only done in the pits or when another car breaks down is frankly rubbish. |

Doubt it. With all the teams in the back pocket of large financial firms more emoney than ever will be poured into R&D for the new regulations, making the car get around the rules and it will accomplish nothing. The "kit car" era is truly dead. Why can't we just have Cosworth DFVs (I would say the greatest racing engine the world has ever known, but I suppose you could also say the immortal Offenhauser 4 cyl Indy engine.), big flat slicks and ground effect. Oh wait, we do and its called Thouroughbred Grand Prix and its brilliant, like any historic championships, ERAs and Group C's anyone? Put that on Sunday and people would get back into racing. Retro F1 - like Retro Cars, going backwards is the way forwards. oi, 'the roadie', are you setting up a retro cars forum in direct competition to this on? it certainly looks that way. |

f1 = boring as f*ck  .......and to think i used to love it and not miss a race... .....its sad to see the way its gone...someone needs to 'get rid of' or 'sort out' or ' look after' bernie ecclestone  your on your own gjm ;D |

Nah, I'm not setting up a site in direct cometition, I've set up a club primarily for Manchester based owners of retro cars.
Besides on various Mini forums its the same crowd on each one, Moderators on TMF regularly post on theminiresouce and minifinity.
