Well that won't be happening now that you have that 929 EBAY BARGE THINGY!! "Mr_Bo11ox Mattress Delivery Service" in dulux down the side would be the dogs danglies. What a pile eh? Scraping new depths with that bad boy. To my surprise, I don't feel too suicidal about having bought it. A better colour scheme might be to paint a race number and 'DEATH SQUAD!!!' on the side with a roller, stick a number on a piece of tin on the roof, and drive round like a maniac wearing a motorbike helmet with all the windows down!!!

I've been driving 15 years and had only 1 crash (which is quite surprising!!!) I bought an 1850HL Dolomite on the monday, passed my driving test on the wednesday and wrote it off on the saturday!! (Oh, that sounds like a Craig David remix!!) I was being a bit cocky, thinking I could drift round corners, then lost it big time!! I ended up in a pond after hitting a granite wall!! The car wasn't that badly damaged until the recovery truck pulled it out. The car was wedged in, and the only way to get it out was to open the rear doors and tie a rope round the rear pillars!!! That didn't do much for the shape of the shell!!!

I've only had two 'accidents', if you can call them that. 1st was in my Morris Minor van (my first car). Lost the back end in the wet round a hairpin in south London - ended up completely sideways, and ended up stopped with the offside wheels up on the nearside kerb. Only damage was a hole torn in the sidewall of the offside rear tyre, and also the tracking was badly knocked out. Had numerous other incidences losing the back end in the Minor (it was only 1098cc - you do need to drive them with your foot flat on the floor!!). The most memorable was on a wet country road in the dark. Ended up in the middle of the road on FULL opposite lock, with oncoming headlights clearly visible... It was a case of hold it and hope, or straighten and go into the ditch on the otherside of the road. Fortunately, it straightened in time ;D but being dark, it was very difficult to tell how far away the oncoming traffic was.... In the Amazon, all I've done was clip the corner of a wooden pot planter when pulling into my parking space at work (colleague had parked badly, not leaving me enough space to swing in) - it left a line of white paint on the rear door & a slight dent. If I could be bothered, I'd take off the interior trim panel and push it out, but I don't care, as there are numerous and much worse battle scars already on the car.

Went in the back of someone on a roundabout in my xr4x4 after doing a recce for the rally at Otterburn. They set off then stopped but I didnt as I was half asleep. Got sideswiped by a skip wagon while I was driving a vectra, pulled straight out of a side road into me. Managed to back into somebloke who had broken down in a blizzard as I was reversing up a hill (only way to get traction) with no visibilty (stupid) A few cases of over exuberance in the snow resulting in a couple of bent rims. One case of a stained passenger seat from mantamad when I nearly lost it in my ae86. ;D ;D ;D And a few when I was passenger one in tonycocacolas chevette, Mantamads ibiza and one when my mate rolled his discovery on a road rally. Neither of us had seatbelts on and I ended up in the back seat after my head had gone through the sunroof. ;D ;D It turned out I broke my back but didnt find out till two years later when I got hit by the skip wagon

I've done some really stupid things in my time, but I guess experience makes you appricate how lucky you are - I've lost numerous friends in fatal accidents. I got away with little more than a few cuts when I hit some black ice in my slightly chavvy but genuine Golf GTI..... I've also totalled a Peugeot 106 S1, in similar circumstances

I've never had anything *that* serious. Skidded the original panda a couple of times in the snow into dry stone walls... Had a daft bint in a punto drive at my bug going through a street with parked cars on both sides and no room for 2 cars- result= paint on my slotmags, massive gash in the rear wing and bumper of the punto. Clipped the rear corner of a citroen berlingo in my T25 van and left this scratch: which cost me £460 (swines) The most serious accident I was involved in was in my good friend Evil Dan's bug, at VW action '02. He was doing the circuit around the speedway track, getting faster and faster, doing perfectly controlled slides round the corner until one where it all went wrong and we ended up in the wall. Here's the damage: We drove the 250ish miles back to liverpool with the front wheels like \ / and only 1 headlight 'cause it would've cost silly money to get a tow. I can't believe we got back in 1 piece and without getting stopped. Now i just wish someone would write off my pooscort so i can get some money and bin it.

There have been a few actually. First one was in my bug. I was pulling out of a blind T junction in a 30 with speedbumps outside a school and a delivery van left a 45 skid mark along the road taking out every panel on the drivers side and shoving the bug across the road into a side street. Stupid thing was, because the roads were both on a residential estate, there were no give way lines so I shouldn't have even bothered to stop - would have been alright if I hadn't  Second one was in a friend's fezza. I was going home on the back lanes of Stoke Poges and a car came round the corner with his mainbeams on. By the time I knew what was happeing I had missed a hairpin bend and ploughed into a tree at 30 - that hurt, lots!!! I've had a few prangs like people reversing off their drive into the rear quarter of the car as I've been driving down the road, people nudging into the back of me at roundabouts (twice) and 'parking incidents'. Been the passeng for plenty of accidents as well, they always seem to hurt more In fact, I'm a jinx, never give me a life or lend me your car lol

Loads of prangs in cars and on (off) motorbikes that I would rather not tell you about - we'll put them down to mis-spent childhood, with one notable exception of the missing wheel. My old Morris J2 van - bumbling along at about 30. Suddenly, dnk! and one side of the van fell over. Hmm, came to a controlled stop to find only three wheels left on my wagon, so to speak. One of them had snapped and got wedged up in the arch! Here is the bit of the wheel that was still attachted to the hub: Ah, she was a fun van though - pity it broke in half really...
