True he was a talented designer, and the DMC-12 was one cool motor, but he was still one collossally dodgy individual. Shame to hear he's dead though.

Its a pity Delorean did not succeed - it was a dream that caught my imagination. I remember first reading about Deloreans plan for such a car in the mid 70's when I was in my early teens. I followed the story vividly all the way to the final closure of the factory - what a shame. At least Delorean was not afriad to follow his dream - how he did it was not important to me - at least he brought hope and delight to a lot of people for a time - Maggie not included ;D
