Please do. Si, at least you've got something retro to arrive in. Saying that, my Cortina moved under its own new power yesterday, yay!

Afraid it won't be there as is not yet finnished, the brakes haven't been started yet and no MOT, Tax or Insurance.
I think now might be a good time to try to confirm who's coming as it's only a few days away.
I will be there for around 1:00pm
Who else is going to commit?

Oh, one more thing, are there any other girls coming? The missus is a bit concerned that her and little'un will be the only girls attending.

Well that was a dissapointing turnout! What happend to everyone? It was just me (and family) and 'Whos Dave'.
It's just fortunate that the venue was so good and we at least had some cool old cars to look at at the museum. If it had been tescos carpark or something we would have been pretty miffed at traveling all that way.
Come on folks, lets do better next time.
Smiler.

sorry guys... things all went to pot at the last minuate... sorry i let u all down.
i will make a real effort for the next one..... i was thinking it was going to be a certain thing but something came up that i could not ignor sorry. there are plenty of people in this area though so lets start planning for the next one.. if we want this meet to happen then we all have to make the effort!! i expect the fact that it was a bank holiday weekend had some effect on the peop's inability to turn up.... drag racing..... car shows all over.... i still think that sundays are the best option though.... what does everyone else think?? is calne the best place?? all sugestions are welcome.. i am happy to travel up to 50miles or so for a regular event... si

I'll be at the next one for sure,.. was at Reading festival this weekend..
Sucks for such a small turn out after a promising start,.. however the first Swansea meet was only 3 people in a car park,.. and only two retro cars (I was in the Golf) ,.. so from small oats etc. etc.
Lets get planning the next one. Last Sunday of the month?? So that'll be September 24th.

OK Si, not to worry, these things happen and you we did coment that you had been really keen right up to the eleventh hour so we guessed something might have come up. Well I'm more than happy to attend at the same venue again as it is a good one. It also means I'll be able to inspect the progress on my new car there presently preparing for the prize draw. (no-one is to bother buying any tickets as it has already got my name on it!) So, who's up for the 24th?
