Bit more of a taster. The 2 other wheels finally turned up, as I thought I required longer studs etc. The thing I love about this car is, its ease at stripping down. Its been taken to bits more times than I can imagine so most jobs that usually go t1ts up and take longer than expected don't. Front suspension still looking good 6 or so years after being reconditioned (Polybushed etc). Again simple job of refitting new studs. Also bring to light my workbench needs cleaning. Quick wipe down of the suspension bits...Much Better Fresh rubber also turned up on Friday..Not much stretch but the tyre guy was going made as if they were too stretched!!! Still waiting for my arches to turn up, once thats done I've decided to replace the brake lines and Steel fuel line as they are looking a little tired. Currently the car is setup for a raked stance, so I've ordered a 2" lowering block to being it level. The front springs are the lowest you can get, so if it needs to go down more then I will modify the spindles like they do over the pond. Cheers.

I like where this is going Downside being that your wheels will foul the front arb on full lock if they are 15x9 ET0 which I presume they are looking at them... They don't look like rota grid V's thats for sure, as ive got one next to me and looking at your tire off photo compared to mine theres much more of a dip past the lip. But they're the right bronze finish to be rota... I'm guessing, aleica's (sakura's) in bronze...

They are ET-10 ;-), so no rubbing going on. You have a good eye, I tried a few different rota's also considered changing the fitment to 4x100 but the Aleica's seem to suit the look I wanted.

Ahh ET-10, good man, should be fine with "stock" lock then. Love the aleica's, was going to go for them on mine but went for grid V's as they were readily available! How do the 15x9 ET-10's fit on the front? I pussied out and got 15x8, now I feel like a little girl

Well it was touch and go if they would fit etc. The rim fits perfect with about 8-10mm on full lock between it and the ARB, the problem came of course with the tyres. But 10mm spacer and a tickle of the grinder on the face edge of the ARB and its all good.

I meant arch wise, as 15x8 et0 sits like this - I presume youve got about an inch poking out of the arch!

Ahh yes.
The cars having JDM arches anyway so that does not bother me so much, plus I think the shape of the B lends itself to them.

Rivet ons? will look lovely with rivet ons, something ive considered many a time but because my fronts don't poke it would be a bit pointless

Correct again ;-). At first I was not going to get them and get smaller width wheels, reason being I did not want to cut into pratically new wings. In the end I decided Sod it and transform the car.
New power is on the list, has been for years but its just got to be done now.

OK so some progress this weekend... It turns out a little job I've been putting off has been put off for 10 year!!!! It was only a small job too, being a braided rear brake hose. I found the receipt in the Kit with the 2 font missing as they were fitted waaaay back. So with that done I could get the car onto her wheels to see what she looks like. I am still waiting on the JDM arch kit from RangerBob so not quite ready for the MOT. Some have seen these via my FB but for the others. As ever, one thing fixed something else breaks. Front left headlight bulb went while I was checking everything over, then the Alternator decided to pack in and now the starter is Fubar . Not all bad as I have all these parts in my stock

Its just slightly showing tread, so depending on the MOT guy I could get away with it. TBH I want to drop it more then I could just slightly tug the arches out a bit on te rear, but want to try the arches on anyway.
