Michi says hi *** EDIT, just read your post properly, waddaferk? you ok mate? Hope the helmet did its job! Oh Noes! Just back from Dejeurner and a few beers ;D It's OK - Bonnet has some gravel rash - roof is radically re-shaped round the front section of the cage which didn't move a mm - front wings both side and a few dents in the doors - front screen let go after it stopped but not badly When I converted the car at the start of this thread 5 years ago I said if I get a couple of years out of it before I ran out of talent and stuck it on the roof or it exceeded my abiliies with the MIG to keep it rolling I'd be happy - done way more than that now. Luckilly screen stayed intact so we were able to remove an awfull lot of kittly litter and straighten wings so they didn't rub on the tyres and we were allowed to continue . Even the stut lines on the doors are fine and all open and shut without any issue. Rest of the day wasn't quite so exiting but much more fun as I tried to dial in the brakes in changing conditions PS James helmet only came into play when I released the belts - luckily not far to drop ;D I'm looking on it as an oppotunity to further remove some weight by replacing the sunroof with alu sheet and pop rivets, I have another roof skin I can cut of a car that is a donor for the rally car - wrong colour but it's not bothered me up till now - it was never or ever would be a concours car....... No pics I can share although the one picture I have from today is before the ooops moment and it looks stunning on track even if I say so myself - I really like then new look

Glad to see it (and you!) live to fight another day. How do you roll a car but keep both wing mirrors intact?! Edit: You need to change your sig pic to one with the car upside down

Cage certainly done the job! All track cars should have a cage in roof could probably be made presentable with a bit of brute force??

Glad to see it (and you!) live to fight another day. I was glad we got to continue on the same day - lap 10.. How do you roll a car but keep both wing mirrors intact?! If they don't touch they don't break Edit: You need to change your sig pic to one with the car upside down Hmmmm - I'll pass on that one ;D

Damn! Sorry to hear that, but glad you're ok - happens to the best of us You drive 10 10ths and you aren't always gonna be lucky - I needed a whole heap of luck and got none And at least the damage ain't that bad, hopefully it'll be easy to sort in time for Marham Leave the dents - skin the front half of the roof and get a 20kg weight saving by removing the glass sunroof (which didn't break) Win all round I reckon

If you need a new windshield, they fit from Senators and Rekords of the same era, easy to get a hold of (over here at least, how does 80 quid for a brand new one at the dealers because they have too many in stock sound? ;D )
