V8 - pm sent Bit more of an Update Getting serious with it now ;D Welding in the Bay continues, some of mine and some of Petes (The better stuff) Repair going in: Car now up on some Proper stands as well ready for stripping to bare shell again New Wilwood Pedalbox - the 4th pedalbox - hopefully this one will fookin fit and work These are 7x15 BBS Mahles et20 and I don't think they are going to fit Loads of space to the inner arch But not so much to the outer oh and theres no disc on this Hub either God knows what the 8x13 et0 Compos are going to be like Axle coming out now as well to give Gary back his dummy bushes and I can get the links Plated or Painted Thats it for this week...... off snowboarding again this weekend so no more car till next week

Not posting any deadlines....... It`ll be done when its done But I want to be driving something rather than building something this year ;D Its been off the road over a year now - its turned into a project which it was never meant to be Cheers for the offer Alex, most of the small stuff will end up going to Redditch as they did my bike bits for me and it was a superb job very reasonable too Unless there is some low bake powder out there and then I`ll build an oven around the car and powdercoat the underneath ;D

think when i baked my bits at home i did it on 190 for 20mins or somthing. Got a telling off for using the oven for car bits tho. The wheels on my Mx5 are powder coated. £5 per wheel.

After seeing the Golf I had to look here as well...
engine bay looks good, did you sort the sump out? and are you going for the free from mess look?

Fookinell it lives Sump is still to do once the engine goes back in again but I think it will work ok Shed is how it should always have been........ Freed of Pandas its assumed its correct state ;D Its got water, Big compressor, Kettle, Microwave and a Lathe now as well ;D ;D Hows that lovely Jo-Jo....... Tell her I`m still waiting on my pictures

what offset are your alloys? I'm looking for a set and I'm wondering what is the highest i can get away with without hitting the shock cheers

what offset are your alloys? I'm looking for a set and I'm wondering what is the highest I can get away with without hitting the shock cheers Which ones ? Front or rear ? Standard Chevette is similar to Golf offset from memory 34 or 37 Mine are: 7x13 et-6 7x15 et 20 5x15 et40 or 42 I think ?

thanks mate.I'm looking for 15's, i borrowed an et35 to try the other day and the tire was rubbing but it was a 205-50-15, so i was unsure how much i would need to go smaller to get it to fit, cheers

Joined the forum just to say well doneOh ! and to ask one question, how have you installed the relief/ recirculation valve on the M45 ? regards Geoff 'the colonel' Lancia Gamma X 2 , Lancia Fulvia Thank you Geoff and welcome to the forum, with a stable like that you`ll fit right in here ;D Get a thread started on yours with lots of Pics - we like pics on here ;D As for recirc, yes I have a recirculating Dump valve off an Evo, plumbed in post chargecooler(Cold side), returning to the charger inlet should work fine with no heating of the air on recirc which is what you want I`ll get some pics when I am next down there to show the positions Cheers Dom

Thanks Dom, once I start work on the Gamma/M45 project I'll post some pics, I tried two electric chargers and they made a differnce so I thought I go for the full blown job. I'll keep in touch regards Geoff
