Black pop this car and thread are amazing. Your car is true credit to your skill and determination! Trouble is while i was tentatively reading this thread from the start at page 10 i cannot see any pics until page 19 as it says 'exceeded band width' Is this down to me connection or your pic host? Again, top marks for one of the best builds on here!

Thanks very muck Hicksy, don't know if its one of the best builds on here though, there are loads of good cars being built. Sadly its my image host, they changed recently and now have restricted their hosting unless I pay them!! which is not on!! I've shifted to another host, but need to swap a lot of them over. They should be back online in a few days though.

Update as promised, after 300 years of masking up it is ready for the inner face of the panels to be painted gloss grey. Can you tell what it is yet? Rear parts masked up, Front area masked, gloss photos coming soon.

Oldbus, not sure, probably prime & gloss the cage & chassis once I've got my head around how to mask it off. Matt, I wish its still a long way off yet

Spent all day today with the car off the trolley and up on stands. This gave me enough room to lie underneath and seam seal all the joints on the sills and around any brackets etc. Another marathon masking session soon I think so I can paint the chassis and the inner window surrounds.

Wooo!! had to drag this up from the depths of the forum Been a bit lax on the updates due to being sidetracked by a new G/F who is rather nice ;D However I have managed to do some work on the car too The lower chassis rails and inside of the sills are now all sealed and primed, no photos yet, sorry I also did more marathon masking sessions and got the rear tubs and shelf area primed; I did gloss it all too, but forgot to take photos but here it is when its all been masked off ready for the next bit. Rear window frame masked off after glossing ready for side windows to be done. I did remember to photo the side frame before masking it off Next will be the door frames, dash and above the screen.

Hi Mark,
Was getting withdrawal symptoms, funny though, we spoke about you over the weekend, I said I wondered how you've been getting on, then blow me, he you are. Looks stunning mate, total testament to your patience. Cheers, Le.

Wow!! really had to dredge the forum to find this thread again, any deeper and it would have been in Australia ;D Work, christmas, skiing hols and lumpy jumpers have been holding up progress of late, but progress has been made. The last you saw was the masking, but now the entire front of the inside of the car has been painted. This is the door jambs, sills, above the screen, the dashboard and the bulkhead frame. Some of the cage has been done as it blends to the body, the rest will be done next. Here it is masked and in primer, And by the wonders of the net, here it is all finished ;D Another view from the back of the car, While that was drying I knocked these trestles up at work, Which will be very handy to paint these More soon (promise!!)
