Awesome!  So nice to finally get that long-term project out for the first time(quite poss the best feeling us gearheads can have) I'm currently feeling both joy for you.....and jelousy that it isnt mine! |

Took me about 1 1/2 hours to clean it after though - it's a mucky car park Was rather good fun though goes nice, steering a bit different, but a quick release wheel will feel strange I guess, brakes - I hope they get better when adjusted properly as they are not awe inspiring at the moment. |

Awesome! Looks like you need wider tyres, though. They seem to be struggling to get everything down. I hadn't realised that the driver sat so far back in the cab until you were in it! Good job. |

Hi Mark,
Great little video clip of the Pop. Very impressive and it really shows the high end quality of your work!! It's got me thinking now about changing my direction in the new year to a classic Ford product, especially as you are affiliated to the local Head Gas Gits!! I'm thinking more 100E / 105E or even an earlier Pop / Anglia? I really don't know what path to go down, so keeping my options open. Maybe an early Mustang?, but the prices are getting ridiculous on this side of the pond. As my Son is in the import / export industry, I might look at this route of finding a suitable car stateside?
I'm not spending enough time on this forum at the moment, due to extensive ongoing training for my new role in Heathrow Operations, but when I finally take a break, I would like to take up your kind offer of the alloy welding. I aim to get a couple of days off around mid December, if that's OK? Good luck with the house move in a few days and I hope everything goes smoothly? Are you planning a House / Garage / Mancave party to celebrate the move?

Blimey - nearly 2 months have gone by since the last update! Not much to report - now moved house and pop is looking a bit sorry for itself in new (very big 24' x 12') but not very nice garage. Lots of muck over it now Garage was damp & leaky - mostly dry & non leaky now, but it all takes time. Really want to get back on the car - but still loads of remedial work on garage to get everything unpacked so I actually know where my tools & parts are. |

Hi again Mark,
Well, i've moved jobs and now work in Heathrow's Airport Operations Centre. The ongoing training is, well, still ongoing and the old adage of not being able teach old dogs new tricks has certainly been disproved!! Our daughter has just moved as well, so mega busy getting her place sorted out. And to add to the instability of a normal life/work balance, we also are looking to move house. I also am starting to feel your pain, as the proposed move does not have the 24' x 19' workspace I am used to!! But life is a compromise, so like you, If the move does go ahead, I too will plan to build a new garage/ Mancave.
Hope to meet up soon (when we have both got a bit of time?)
