Deffinately man. That was one of the ones held at Santa Pod, they're pretty much monthly and around £50.
Was a few nice oldskool cars during the day, but always good to see more!

Cheers guys!
My plan is to just leave it as it is now, and tidy it up a bit.
I think I might leave that Kamei spoiler off aswell.

Ok here's a rather crappy update: I've buggered the engine. The bigends are making themselves the centre of attention I went to a drift day on NYE, paid my entry, did four laps, aaand daga daga daga. Here's a picture of me driving around the track in an attempt to cool the car down, and gradually hearing the noises getting worse. It looks nice, but it pains me to see

See that's the thing. I could probably get an alright engine with reasonable miles for about 250, or spend the time and a similar amount of money rebuilding the engine.
At the moment I'm swaying towards buying a runner (which I'll witness before I buy!) and taking a while rebuilding the broke one, since I know I'll end up rushing the rebuild else.

nitemare that its happened at the start of the year.... it easy to get another engine and put it in, instead of the time factor of rebuilding the one you already have............. good thing of rebuilding the one you have tho, is you know where you stand with it then............ as its probably gonna get a good bit of abuse over the year lol

Just read through this post - you must be absolutely gutted about your engine. If it were me id buy another motor and get it in as quick as poss so i could get back out in that beast!
I LOVE that front spoiler though mate - think it looks hard as nails. I really like the chequers on the rear quarter as well - kinda like an early '90s BTCC Bimmer.

Haha, I think an LET would be a bit much for this little car to cope with. It's already very lively when you drive it hard. I think I'm gonna go for the option of banging a decentish used engine in and take my time building a fresh one I'll make a start this weekend!

EcoTec`s would be cheaper for a reason.. Havent heard anything good about them (well, they say they last many kms, and are cheap on fuel, but the cranks are curse word.)
