R32 GTS-T are peanuts in Japan, I know a couple of drift types who have brought them into the UK for less than a grand.

In fact, when we did the Scumball 3000, the Fast Car team bought their GTS-T from Japan, and the price satisfied the '£500 or less' rule.

No. I would'nt bother if I were you. It looks like a bit of a money pit, TBH. Why not spend it on the Escort?

Are they really that cheap, i much prefer the shape of the R32 to the later models.

Were they only available in 2ltr, and whats the difference in performance between these and the later cars?

If it's 40 years old it could have been bumped and/or nicked several times. As long as the V5's there, and it was vaguely as described, I wouldn't be too fussed about much else.
